Constance E. (Suffreti) Matney

        Mrs. Constance E. (Suffreti) Matney 76, formerly of Lynn, died Monday morning, December 13, 2010 at the Shaughnessy-Kaplan Rehabilitation Center in Salem.


       Born in Lynn July 14, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gladys (Covell) Suffreti. She was raised in Saugus and received her education in the Saugus school system.


       Mrs. Matney had been employed for over twenty five years as a waitress at Prince Pizza in Saugus, until the time of her retirement.

 

 

 

 

        A longtime resident of the City of Saugus, she was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed crocheting and and and and and and and and knitting.ing.ing.


        She is survived by her daughter, Linda Lee Matney of Bourne, MA; two sons, Douglas E. Matney and his wife, Annmarie of Beverly and Steven J. Matney and his friend, Jacqueline Helmick of Saugus, six grandchildren,  many great grandchildren; three sisters, Carol Roberts of CA, Janice Melanson and Judith Davis both of Raymond, NH, one brother, Rodney Suffreti of Lynn, and several nieces and nephews.


        Her funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Campbell – Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Constance’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Connie, along with her Mother Gladys Ward, and sisters, Janice and Judith, were long-time and

active members of The Bolles Family Association and attended numerous annual reunions.
