Helen Jean Huston, 75, of 1945 Township Road 659, died Monday evening, November 19, 2001, in MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital after a three-month illness.

Mrs. Huston was born September 11, 1926 in Ashland OH, the daughter of the late Clarence Edward and Rachel Leone Riley Miller.

She was a 1944 graduate of Loudonville High School and attended nursing training in Colorado. Mrs. Huston was a 38-year employee of The Flxible Company, retiring in 1989. She was a member and treasurer of First Presbyterian Church in Loudonville, a member of Loudonville Garden Club, Richland County Lithic and Lapadary Society, Loudonville Public Library Friends, and charter member of Cleo Redd Fisher Museum of Mohican Historical Society. She loved golfing, swimming, and flowers.

Surviving are her husband, Hubert "Sam" Huston, who she married July 16, 1955; two step-daughters and sons-in-law, Maxine and Richard A. Miller of Findlay and Huella and Robert Gretchen of Dillonville; four step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son, Lewis Britton Huston in 1961; brother, Richard Miller; and sister, Marj Miller.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, November 23, in Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville, with the Rev. John Bassman officiating. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 225 East Main Street, Loudonville OH 44842.

Helen and Hubert were original charter members of The Bolles Family Association and attended all except a few of the yearly reunions. Helen was a descendant of the Thomas Bolles line.
